Driver runs red light, fatally collides with another vehicle near Meadowlake
HARRIS COUNTY, TX – According to KHOU, two people are dead after a driver ran a red light and hit another vehicle near E Sam Houston Pkwy N and Little York Rd on Sunday.
A 17-year-old male and a 19-year-old male were inside a Camaro when they ran a red light and struck a Toyota Camry occupied by two women. The Camaro then crashed into a light pole before catching on fire.
The two occupants of the Camaro died in the wreck. It is unclear who was driving the Camaro.
Following the collision, the women in the Camry remained at the scene and cooperated with deputies.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
