Motorcyclist fatally collides with SUV on Mullins Dr
HOUSTON, TX – According to the Houston Police Department, a motorcyclist died following a two-vehicle collision on the 7000 block of Mullins Dr on Tuesday.
A 30-year-old man was riding a gray Yamaha motorcycle north on Mullins Dr at high speeds when he hit a white Toyota 4 Runner around 6:20 p.m. The 4 Runner driver, a 34-year-old man, had been heading south on Mullins Dr and was about to make a left turn into a business when the motorcyclist struck him.
Rescue crews pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
Following the collision, the 4 Runner driver stayed at the scene. He was questioned and released.
Officials will release the victim’s name once the next of kin has been notified.
The Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
