Driver hits, kills pedestrian on West Mount Houston Road
HOUSTON, TX – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a driver fatally collided with a male pedestrian on the 1300 block of West Mount Houston Road on Sunday.
Satry Moore was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado west on West Mount Houston Road when he hit a male pedestrian who was crossing the street from south to north around 10:25 p.m.
Following the collision, Moore remained at the scene and called 911. While on the phone with 911, two drivers ran over the victim. They did not stop.
First responders transported the victim to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:13 p.m. Officials have not released the victim’s name.
The Vehicular Crimes Division of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
