Authorities search for hit-and-run driver who killed cyclist
HOUSTON, TX – Authorities are looking for a hit-and-run driver who killed a bicyclist on Quitman Street in the early hours of Friday morning, The Houston Chronicle reports.
According to the Houston Police Department, the 31-year-old cyclist was struck by the driver around 2:15 a.m. in the 2200 block of Quitman Street, between the Hardy Toll Road and Interstate 45. The driver did not stop to render aid and the cyclist died at the scene.
