SUV driver fatally collides with semi-truck on Interstate 69 in Sugar Land

SUGAR LAND, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, a person is dead following a collision between a semi-truck and an SUV on northbound Interstate 69 near Sweetwater Boulevard on Monday.

A person was driving an SUV at high speeds when they slammed into a semi-truck around 8 p.m.

First responders pronounced a passenger from the SUV dead at the scene and transported the SUV driver to an area hospital.

Officials have not released the victims’ names

The Sugar Land Police Department is investigating the incident.
