Driver fatally collides with motorcyclist on Katy Hockley Road in Katy
KATY, TX – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a driver struck and killed a motorcyclist on the 13700 block of Katy Hockley Road on Tuesday.
A semi-truck driver was heading north on Katy Hockley Road. The driver of a silver 2013 Chevrolet Silverado tried to pass the truck and collided with a southbound motorcyclist around 5:43 a.m.
The pickup truck driver and semi-truck driver came to rest on the east side of the road in a drainage ditch, while the motorcyclist came to rest in the roadway.
First responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the motorcyclist’s name.
