Head injury reported in cement truck rollover near Beasley
FORT BEND CO., TX – One person sustained injuries Wednesday in a truck accident along the freeway in west-central Fort Bend County, reports abc 13 News.
Shortly after 5:15 a.m., emergency crews responded to a crash involving a cement truck on the northbound side of US-59 at FM 360 Road, which is just southwest of Beasley and about 48 miles southwest of Houston.
Police haven’t shared any details about the circumstances of the wreck except to say that a cement truck overturned.
The truck driver sustained a head injury in the accident and required hospitalization.
No other injuries have been reported in connection to the collision.
Drivers experienced significant delays along US-59/Southwest Freeway Wednesday morning while teams worked to clear the scene.
