Multi-car crash slows traffic near Washington, MLK in Beaumont
BEAUMONT, TX – Emergency crews responded Tuesday to a multi-vehicle collision at a major intersection in northeast Jefferson County, reports KFDM 6.
The accident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. at Washington Boulevard and Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway in southeast Beaumont, which is about 84 miles northeast of Houston.
Police haven’t shared any details about the cause of the crash, which they say involved four vehicles. Photos taken at the scene depict a white sedan with heavy front-end damage.
No serious injuries have been reported in connection to the accident. It’s unclear if anyone required hospitalization.
The collision caused delays in the area while teams attended to the victims and worked to clear the scene.
