Fatality reported in auto-pedestrian crash at Louetta, Carrot
HOUSTON, TX – A vehicle struck and fatally injured a pedestrian in the northwest suburbs on Sunday, reports Click 2 Houston.
Emergency crews arrived at Louetta Road and Carrot Street in Spring shortly after midnight. This is just southwest of Carrot Plaza and about 25 miles from Houston.
Police say the victim was walking in or near the intersection when a white sedan struck them. The pedestrian succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
It’s unclear if the pedestrian was using a crosswalk when the crash happened.
The victim died at the scene; their name has not been released to the public.
The driver of the sedan stopped to render aid and to speak with police.
A full investigation is underway.
