Motorcycle collides with tree near Lick Creek Park, killing biker

BRAZOS CO., TX – A motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries Wednesday in a solo crash in the southeastern Brazos County, reports KBTX 3.

Around 5:15 p.m., emergency crews responded to Rock Prairie Road, just east of Lick Creek Park on the outskirts of College Station and around 90 miles northwest of Houston.

Police say that for unknown reasons, a motorcycle operator lost control of their bike, left the roadway, and crashed into a tree.

The motorcyclist died at the scene. Authorities have not yet identified the victim.

A full investigation is underway.
