Woman faces possible charges after killing man in San Antonio wrong-way crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man was killed in a wrong-way crash early this morning on the North Side of San Antonio, according to a report from KSAT.

The crash occurred on Loop 1604 and Lockhill Selma Road early this morning around 2 a.m.

The accident happened whenever Mariana Campos-Jimenez, 20, was driving in the wrong direction in the eastbound lanes of Loop 1604. She hit a man driving an SUV head-on near Lockhill Selma Road.

There is no information at this time regarding the identity of the victim, who was dead when authorities arrived.

Campos-Jimenez was taken into custody for a possible charge of intoxicated manslaughter.

According to the report, authorities closed the eastbound lanes of 1604 for a few hours after the accident.
