Authorities called to fatal crash off N Sam Houston Pkwy W in NW Houston

HARRIS COUNTY, TX — One person died Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle crash on the North Sam Houston Parkway West feeder road in northwest Houston, reports Click2Houston.

The accident occurred at the intersection with TC Jester Boulevard at around 6:12 a.m. Officials with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office and members of the Little York Fire Department were dispatched to the scene shortly after.

While the cause of the wreck was not immediately clear, authorities said two silver SUVs were involved. Preliminary details indicate the front bumper of one vehicle collided with the right side of the other vehicle. One SUV appeared to have sustained front-end damage and was left with its hood lifted.

At this time, authorities have not disclosed any information on the victim or the other involved party.

A section of TC Jester Boulevard was shut down in the area during the response and investigation. Motorists were asked to find alternate routes.
