EMS crews respond to major crash on Hamilton St in downtown Houston
HOUSTON, TX — Authorities were called to a collision Friday afternoon in downtown Houston’s Central Business District, according to the City of Houston.
The accident was reported at 1899 Hamilton Street, near St. Joseph Parkway. Houston Police were dispatched to the scene at about 1:04 p.m. and were joined by Houston Fire Department crews shortly after.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash or how many vehicles were involved, but dispatchers described the incident as a “major” crash that resulted in an “EMS event.”
While neither agency has confirmed any injuries, the event was listed as “non fatal.”
