Major crash reported near auto dealership on Long Point Rd in NW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — Authorities were called to a collision Thursday afternoon near a business in northwest Houston’s Spring Branch Central area, according to City of Houston.

The accident was reported at 8701 Long Point Road, the address for My Favorite Auto Dealer, a used-car dealership. Houston Police and Fire Department crews responded to the scene at around 1:00 p.m.

While the circumstances of the event remain undisclosed, dispatchers listed the incident as a “major” crash that resulted in an “EMS event.”

Neither the HPD or the HFD has shared the conditions of those involved, but no fatalities were reported in the immediate aftermath.
