Fleeing driver dies after crash off Woodlands Parkway in The Woodlands
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — A man was killed Wednesday night in a vehicle crash after fleeing the scene of a reported disturbance in The Woodlands, according to ABC13.
Montgomery County deputies said the man had driven away from an incident on Lake Robbins Drive at about 9:00 p.m., prompting a police pursuit.
At one point, the male suspect lost control of his vehicle, causing it to crashed into an embankment along the Woodlands Parkway Bridge.
The driver and sole occupant, who was ejected from the vehicle, died as a result of his injuries. Officials said he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The victim’s identity has not been disclosed as of this writing.
