Police investigate deadly single-vehicle crash on Katy Fwy
HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department is investigating a fatal wreck that happened at 4800 Katy Freeway on Friday.
A 29-year-old woman was driving a gray Nissan Juke west on the Katy Fwy when she lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a concrete median at a high rate of speed around 9 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the driver and her 4-year-old male passenger to an area hospital, where the woman died. The passenger was in stable condition with minor injuries.
