Driver runs stop sign, collides with patrol vehicle in Brookhaven

HOUSTON, TX – According to ABC 13, a driver collided with officers responding to a call near Stassen St and McLean St on Sunday.

Around 10:30 p.m., the driver of a Chevy ran a stop sign and hit a patrol vehicle occupied by two officers. The collision sent both vehicles into a ditch.

The Chevy also hit a car with a mother and two kids inside it. The mother had pulled over when she heard the sirens.

Rescue crews transported the two officers to an area hospital with minor injuries. They also transported the Chevy driver, mom, and two kids to the hospital to be checked out.
