Officer hurt in 3-vehicle crash on Fondren Road

HOUSTON, TX – A police officer was hurt in a three-vehicle collision at 2699 Fondren Road on Saturday night, according to Click 2 Houston.

The wreck occurred around 5:55 p.m.

The officer became pinned inside his vehicle. He was able to extricate himself by the the time emergency crews arrived.

First responders transported the officer to an area hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown.

It is unclear if anyone else was hurt in the incident
