Police search for suspect in fatal Sunnyside hit-and-run
HOUSTON, TX – A hit-and-run collision in southeast Houston claimed the lives of two women early Wednesday morning, reports Click 2 Houston.
Around 3:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to an auto-pedestrian crash on Cullen Boulevard between Alvin Street and Larkspur Street in the Sunnyside area.
Police say that for unknown reasons, two women were fighting on the ground along Cullen Boulevard. A sedan struck both women, killing them at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims.
The driver of the sedan did not stop to render aid or to speak with police.
A full investigation is underway. Anyone with information or tips that could lead to a suspect can contact the Houston Police Department.
