1 killed in motorcycle crash on TX-6 near Hwy 59 in Sugar Land
SUGAR LAND, TX – A fatality has been reported in connection to a motorcycle accident that happened Wednesday in east-central Fort Bend County, reports KHOU 11.
The crash occurred shortly before 3:45 p.m. on the northbound side of TX-6 near Highway 59 in Sugar Land, which is 24 miles southwest of Houston.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the collision or the number of vehicles involved.
Additionally, authorities haven’t released the name of the victim and will wait to do so until family has been notified.
Officials closed TX-6 in the area of the crash while crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene. Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.
